Urgent - Kash and Rhani need a new and Loving Home

UPDATE : Kash and Rhani have now found a new home biggrin

========================

Can anyone help us please we urgently need a good and loving home for two wonderful Bengals. Our very good friends Lisa and Bill had thought they had found just that for Kash and Miss Kitty, but unfortunately the person who took them was totally unprepared to deal with two lovely but lively Bengals.

Lisa tells us both are very well behaved cats, one male and one female.
The male (Kash or kid rock) is our retired stud cat (3 years) from our breeding days.

He is brown spotted with huge rosettes, has no behavioural problems, is loving on his own terms but is a little shy, he is not a lap cat but has shown signs that this could change. He loves to be close by and will go for a walk with you as well, but does not like to be picked up.

Kash can be viewed on our website: www.Loungeleopard.co.uk

The female (Rhani/ miss kitty) is an older bengal, (9years) and has been with Kash for his whole life. She is very affectionate and loves to curl up on your lap. She is a smaller bengal with a lovely gentle personality, loves attention, once she feels comfortable with you she will be very affectionate.

Both cats need to go to the same home, we would not like to split them up. But we would consider it if there is no other choice. They need to go to a home with no other pets and like to be both indoors and out.

Genuine reason for rehoming, not an easy thing to do, these two do not get along with our F2 Male and its them or him as they do not get to spend the time with us that they should.

Both use the litter tray , are affectionate on there own terms.
Please note: they will need a long adjustment period and lots of love and patience. Kash especially is not lap a cat, we have tried to rehome them unsuccessfully before, please do not take them if you are not willing to give them lots of time to adjust.

Please don't get in touch with us if you are not genuinly interested in Kash and Miss Kitty, this has been a very difficult time for our friends and we truly want to find the right home for these two outstanding Bengals, they are both lovely cats and deserve to find a truly wonderful owner and a great forever home.

Ajax & Theo

As everyone knows by now we make The Maclaw Cat Wheel and on Saturday we had the pleasure of delivering a wheel to Erika and Adam for their two wonderful EG Bengals.

The two boys took to the wheel almost immediately, Erika and Adam tell us Both boys are going on the wheel without prompting and galloping along, they can really pick up some serious speed it's quite fascinating.

They have sent a couple of fabulous pictures of the cheeky pair and we just had to share......

Take a look at these awesome little cubs, both my husband and myself have seen some beautiful Bengals while delivering The Maclaw but quite frankly guys we fell totally in love with these two charismatic little sweethearts.

I think you'll agree, totally gorgeous and believe it or not they have wonderful personalities too.

Happy Birthday Zuri

Yesterday was a very busy day and we didn't get the chance to update the News post but today we have to announce another Birthday!

Our beautiful Tatudtiger Serenity Maclaw (pet name Zuri) was four years old yesterday. Zuri is our stunning green eyed beauty that we acquired from Kerry and Mark of Silverpride.

She's a wonderful mother to her kitten's and carries the snow gene so with Big Red's help we do get the occasional stunning little snow baby.

Zuri had a quiet day with her friends yesterday enjoying running on the wheel and chasing Suki and Claudia around. She spends a lot of her time grooming so she always looks her best.

Her Birthday tea was a nice piece of fresh Tuna which Zuzu really loves. She then spent the evening sitting on her sunning shelf watching the rain.

So Happy Birthday to our beautiful Zuri and many more to come. biggrin

Lewis and Harrison

I just had to share these lovely pictures of two of our previous kitten's.

Nicola and Simon decided to take two boys from us and as you can see they are fantastic friends.

We are not saying that Nicola and Simon didn't have teething problems with them, but they clearly have sorted out everything for their beautiful boys and we are proud to say, well done guys you've done an amazing job with these two awesome Bengals.

Aren't they beautiful?

Both Lewis and Harrison are totally different characters but we are so proud of them and their wonderful parents for having the patience and understanding to work with them.
Bengals are not the easiest pets in the world but they are the most loving and rewarding animals if you are willing to make the effort.

And clearly Nicola and Simon deserve a massive pat on the back for all the effort they put into these two lovely boys, well done guys we are so pleased to say you are part of the Maclaw extended family...

Oscar has found a new home.

We have been informed today Oscar has been rehomed.

Please Help Oscar

We had a phone call yesterday from a nice lady who is struggling with
a sad dilemma. She got Oscar a 7 year old Bengal nuetered male from a cat shelter, Oscar is very loving and gentle with people but unfortunately Oscar doesn't like their labradoodle Poppy at all and is attacking her.

We feel the cat shelter has been most unfair with this lady and so we agreed to ask all you kind guys out there if any of you could offer Oscar a loving home.

As we said Oscar doesn't get on with dogs so what we need is a lovely family with perhaps a couple of older children and no other pets.

We know this is a big ask guys! but his owner is desperate to find a good and loving home for him.

He has all his pedigree papers and he's already neutered and chipped,
Karen advised us :-

He is neutered and chipped, we have his papers and details of the chip, he has his own bed and a big cuddly toy that he seems to love, his eyes are the brightest green eyes I have ever seen and he is a big loving boy.

To ensure Oscar goes to the right sort of home we are asking for £200.00
If you are interested please get in touch with us and we'll let Karen know
so you can see him in person.

Thanks everyone

Update on T.J.

As everyone who follows our news posts know, our son Paul took one of our kitten's to be his very own live in demon and at Christmas when Paul, T.J. and Maya ( Paul's other cat) came home to spend the holidays with us T.J. managed within five minutes of getting here to break his front leg on our Christmas tree.

So as promised here is an update of T.J.'s progress.

Paul and Lloyd moved into their new cottage in June and T.J. seems to be settling in slowly, Bengals don't like changes to their home surroundings and it can take quite a settling period to get them back to normal. Maya on the other hand our Paul and Lloyds other little cat has settled well, Maya is totally blind and has been since birth, she's quite an amazing and adaptable little girl.

To help T.J. settle Paul and Lloyd decided to create a window seat for him as he loves to look out of the window.

And we are glad to report this has been a success :-

We thought you might like to see our cheeky boy trying out his seat and posing for his Dad as he get's his picture taken, handsome fella isn't he?

Happy Birthday Claudia

We would like to wish Empress Claudia Maclaw a very Happy Second birthday for Friday 19th. August.

Our beautiful little girl did us proud early last month when she gave birth to eight stunningly beautiful kittens ( 2 girls and 6 boys).

We worry very much when one of our girls has a lot of kittens in one litter but we were able to split up this litter into two as Claudia's Mum Mia Maclaw had lost her kittens and had a C/section. Mia was very depressed afterwards but still had a lot of milk so we put four of the kitten's in with their grandmother, who like the truly remarkable cat she is totally accepted her four grandchildren as her own.

We at Maclaw Bengals are very proud of our wonderful Queens, we think we have been very lucky with the fantastic girls we have, and we'd like to thank all the breeder's we got our girls from especially Bill and Lisa (Lounge Leopards). which is where we got Forest Gems Mia from. Of course Empress Claudia is one of our first home grown little Stars.

We know Claudia will have a fabulous day on Friday as we always make a fuss of our girls and boys anyway but birthdays are special and Claudia will be extra specially treated on Friday.

Happy Birthday Claudipop we love you tons XXXXX wub

Announcement - Empress Claudia Maclaw had Eight Kittens!

We at Maclaw Bengals are very pleased to announce that on the 8th. July our very clever girl Claudia had eight kittens.

Claudia had seven kittens the last time she gave birth, so we had expected at least six. However our girl still managed to surprise us by producing eight beautiful kittens.

As Claudia's mother Mia had a C/section and had lost the only kitten she was carrying, we consulted with our vet who thought what we were proposing was an excellent idea. Mia had loads of milk and was very low and depressed.

We split Claudia's litter into two and put four of the kittens in with Granma to see if Mia would accept them.

We were so proud of her! Mia literally scooped the four kittens towards her with her front paws, started to lick them and then lay on her side to let the kittens feed from her. She is such a fantastic Mother and this also helps her wonderful daughter Claudia as she now has four kittens to tend to instead of eight which is a lot for any cat! we felt this would make her life less stressful, and give her time to enjoy her four kittens.

Both our fabulous girls are now happily looking after their respective little one's.

We found we had six boys and two girls. Mia is much happier and settled and Claudia is as always just a great Mum.

Say Hello to Alfie (Castor)

We had a lovely email from one of our previous kittens Mums, she told us how well he's doing and sent us some lovely pictures of him.

We thought it was so nice we decided to share his pictures with everyone just to show what a handsome big boy he is.

His Mum Joanne decided to call him Alfie which we think really suites his cheeky personality.

Alfie was one of Claudia's first litter and is growing up beautifully, so much so his Mum is thinking about getting another Bengal!!

And to quote Joanne in her own words 'Alfie fitted right in he pesters the life out of Harry our other cat but he is a big softy and runs away if Harry gets angry :D he has a strange habit when he is tired he likes to cuddle into you and sucks on your clothes. Ha ha. James thinks this is funny. He loves James and Anthony my sons, he likes to attack them playfully. He likes to let you know what he wants and sometimes its like having another little boy but we all love him and I am quite tempted to get another Bengal. X '

Great idea Joanne !! Double Trouble !! but double the love and fun.

Happy Birthday Dineo

My sweet little girl Dineo is 1 year old today. The 14th. July 2011.

Dineo was rejected by her mother Mia when the rest of the litter
died at birth and Mia lost her milk after just one week.

Dineo was reared by myself and my neutered boy Diablo who
loves her, and she loves him too. He taught her to clean herself,
use the litter tray and did all the things I couldn't do for her.

He plays with her all the time and she still snuggles in to him at bed time.
They are so lovely together.

Happy Birthday little girl I hope you enjoy your special treat of fresh tuna.

Urgent - Dylan needs a new home.

Our beautiful big boy Dylan was returned to us a couple of months ago after his owner found she could no longer cope with him.

On returning to us we discovered he had a severe illness which has now been resolved by our vet.

We are looking for a nice family home for Dylan with maybe a couple of children to play with. We must stipulate that due to Dylan's previous condition he has been left with a sensitive stomach and for that reason we must ask for a family with no other cats in their home.

Dylan is a big boy with beautiful high contrast rosetting, he is gentle natured and loves playing and running around, he loves children and is very careful when playing, he doesn't claw unless he's frightened. I play fight with him as much as possible and he will try to nip my hands but if I squeal and pretend I'm hurt he stops immediately hugs my hand and licks me as if to say sorry mum I'm being too rough.

Unfortunately we have so many breeding cats we don't have the time we would like to devote to Dylan, which is why we have made the difficult decision to try and find him a loving and worthy home.

Dylan is chipped and neutered, he's fully up to date with his vaccinations and was vet health checked two weeks ago, the vet gave him a clean bill of health.

He was born on the 7th. November 2010. His mother is Empress Claudia Maclaw and his father is Duncan Maclaw, he is a full pedigree Bengal and will go to his new home with a full 5 gen pedigree and all the necessary paperwork.

So if you feel he's the ideal boy for you please contact us by phone or email and we will arrange for you to come and view our beautiful, handsome boy.

Sad News

sad
I'm afraid I have some very sad news to report.

Forest Gems Mia Maclaw had to have a caesarian section today 7th. July and unfortunately the one kitten she was carrying had died.

We would like to say a big thank you to our wonderful vet Sarah Middleton of Simply Cats. Sarah made me feel Mia was in the most capable hands, and although the outcome was not ideal, Mia herself is out of danger and recovering well.

Mia is now resting comfortably and will be well looked after as always but will receive a little extra love and attention for the next few weeks until we are certain she is much better and recovering fully.

New Queen arriving soon!

From Zuri and Red's last litter we got the most beautiful male seal mink snow.

We decided to keep him as our up and coming stud, his name is Maclaw Bengals Arctic Storm Trooper ( or Storm to us).

He is so beautiful and has a wonderful friendly temperament, so after losing Tiger Lily as a breeding queen we decided to buy in a new queen, thus making sure we get some new blood lines in our gene pool and Storm gets a little friend to grow up with.

So we would like to announce the arrival on Sunday 10th. July of Shonar Bengals Queen Jardis Maclaw. She was born on the 12th. April 2011 and she's a little stunner. Pet name Billie.

We would like to thank Lynne and Liam for allowing us to take this fabulous little girl as a breeding queen and we look forward with great anticipation to
the wonderful kittens she and Storm will hopefully produce.

Sukira Maclaw has had her kittens

I was busy tidying up as usual when I heard Sukira meowing and scratching very loudly, as this is unusual for my very quiet and gentle girl I came upstairs to investigate.

Suki was extremely agitated and wanted to be in her pet carrier which was on top of the kitten pen, so I took it down and opened the door, she got in and no sooner had she settled than she started to have her first kitten.

That was 1.00 p.m. today and by 3.00 p.m. she had delivered six beautiful
little babies and settled down to feed them.

Suki is now resting peacefully back in her own bed with her six little ones
which she carried one by one from her carrier into the kitten pen and put safely to bed.

She's a super Mum and required no help from me other than to snip the last umbilical at 3.00 p.m. and six babies later she was very tired.....
She is such a star! And Big Red is a Daddy again six times over!!

Suki and her new babies are all sleeping soundly. God bless them. happy

Happy 2nd Birthday Duncan

We have a very special Birthday today, Duncan Maclaw
our beautiful stud boy is 2 years old.

In human years that makes Duncan> 25 Years old

We are very proud of Duncan and everyone around here loves him as he quite often goes out for a walk on his lead and harness, people who don't know him have to look twice when they see this huge leopard like boy being walked along the street. He quite often get's mistaken for a wild cat, but there is nothing wild about our big softie. He's very mild mannered and loving to both us and his ladies.

Happy Birthday big fella with lots of love from your Mum, Dad and the family, fresh chicken for you this evening as we all know it's your favourite.

Congratulations Ben & Emma

We at Maclaw Bengals would like to say congratulations to Ben and Emma Taylor on the birth of their new baby daughter Brooke.

She didn't let us down girls! Brooke was fashionably late and made her poor parents and the rest of us wait for her arrival.

She was born at 03.12 a.m. on Saturday 21st May and she's beautiful.

Poor Ben and Emma tell us they are shattered!! this is just the beginning guys.

Proud dad Ben sent us some wonderful pictures of his new family, and both Kody and Jenna Ben's two beautiful dogs look absolutely taken with the sweet little hairless puppy their Mum and Dad have presented to them.

We look forward to meeting Brooke in person very soon, and we predict Mum and Dad will have many a sleepless night when this little stunner grows into a real little heart breaker.

So once again congratulations Ben and Emma and a very warm welcome to little Miss Brooke Taylor.

Happy Birthday Diablo, TJ and the rest of Lily's kittens

Happy Birthday Diablo, our beautiful boy is one year old today 22nd May As a special birthday treat Diablo will be having his favourite tea, Roast chicken.

He has been following me around in the kitchen as he can smell his chicken cooling down, bless him.

Diablo was one of our Tiger Lily's first litter of kittens, we also have another one of his litter still in the family as our son Paul and his partner Lloyd have TJ.
He will also be getting a birthday treat today, his favourite tea is fresh tuna.

You may all remember TJ from Christmas and the tree incident! when he broke his leg after being home with us for exactly 5 minutes!!

We are all so pleased to be able to tell everyone TJ is back to his old self, charging round like a maniac and driving Paul and Lloyd crazy with his cheeky antics, no one would suspect at Christmas he had a really badly broken front leg.

So we at Maclaw Bengals would like to say Happy Birthday guys we love you all and hope you are all happy and healthy in your new lives.

Photo shoot at Maclaw Bengals!

We had a very exciting morning here at Maclaw Bengals.

Ben & Emma Taylor came to take some photographs of our pride, It was lovely to see how enthusiastic Ben was about our beautiful Bengal's.

We are very proud of all of them and while some did perform very well, other's do tend to be a little reserved and shy. However this didn't deter Ben at all.

We are so pleased that Ben and Emma came to see us and we cannot wait to see the results of all their hard work.

Emma is about to have their first Baby any day now and we cannot thank them enough for taking the time to do this, as we know they are busy trying to get everything ready before the little one makes an appearance.

We wish them all the luck in the world with their baby and we are sooooooo! excited to see the pictures biggrin

Happy Birthday Sukira and Orion...

Happy Birthday Suki, our beautiful girl is 2 years old today.

It's only 1 year ago she had her very first litter of kitten's on this exact date.

One of her kitten's is back here with us at Maclaw Bengals, so we are happy to tell you after a very dramatic start to life our beautiful boy Orion is 1 year old today, and considering he was condemned to be put to sleep by his previous owner's Vet. We think he's doing pretty good.

Orion will be getting roast chicken for his tea today, that's his favourite and Sukira Maclaw also loves her chicken breast.

Like mother, like son!

Happy Birthday to both of you with ton's of love from the whole family here at Maclaw Bengals. wub

No more babies from Tiger Lily

On the 23rd. April Lily went into labour with her 2nd. litter of kitten's. At 10.00 a.m. she gave birth to a tiny little girl, the kitten was very small but seemed healthy. Lily then stopped her contractions and settled down to feed her single kitten.

Quite often cats will do this and have the ability to resume labour up to 48 hours later. We thought as Lily had settled down she must not be ready to have the other kitten/s.

We knew she had at least one more and could see the kitten moving around inside her. Lily seemed settled and nothing happened with her all day, and all the next day. Then on Monday we noticed the kitten/s had stopped moving inside her, Lily seemed restless, so we called the vet.

Lily was taken into our vet's immediately and had a caesarian section, unfortunately the one remaining kitten was very large and had died.

For Lily's well-being we had her spayed at the same time.

We took her home but alas, more bad news! she lost her milk and the one remaining little kitten refused to feed from a bottle. We are very sorry to have to say the kitten faded last night and died.

Needless to say we are very upset here at Maclaw Bengals, Lily was our first Bengal and we are gutted she had to be spayed, but quite honestly when it came to her health we just had to think of her first.

Lily will be staying here with us as a much loved pet. wub

Happy Birthday Big Red

biggrin Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Big Red.

Our beautiful big boy was five on the 6th. April 2011.
He absolutely loves some fresh tuna fish and thats what our big boy had for his Birthday tea.

We got a couple of nice pictures of the big fella, sunning himself in his enclosure and he's just become a Dad again, Zuri gave birth to his babies last week, of course the big fella takes it all in his stride.

He will be a Daddy again very soon as Forest Gems Malika is expecting her first litter any day now. Malika belongs to our friend Carol and her family. She visited with us to be put to Red.

They got on really well and we were so pleased when Carol told us Malika was expecing her first litter!

We will keep everyone posted on Malika's progress, and we are looking forward to seeing her babies, we are sure with their great pedigree and good looking parents Carol is sure to get some little stunners. biggrin

Zuri's babies are finally here!

This morning at about 9.00 a.m. Zuri went into her first stage of labour, she always gets very fussy and starts to mew very loudly.

I stayed close all day and she seemed very restless, but at around 6.30 p.m. she gave birth to a very large kitten which was unfortunately still born. This was closely followed by two more very healthy and noisy live kittens.

Zuri seems to know and didn't even try to clean the first kitten she simply pushed it with her back feet towards me as if to say ok that one is gone please remove it.

It's always sad when we lose a kitten but unfortunately thats nature!

Zuri carried on cleaning her two babies and at around 7.00 p.m. she gave birth to a beautiful little snow seal mink kitten. She then settled down to feed all three after cleaning them and herself, I noticed she still had a little bump left
but she seemed settled so off I went for a cup of tea.

Half an hour later when I came back to check on Mum and her new family, Zuri turned toward me and presented number five a very cute little brown rosette.

She's now fast asleep with her new babies and purring like an engine, well done little sweetheart, you deserve a rest.

Pictures will follow very soon but for now we would like to announce Tatudtiger Serenity gave birth to four healthy kittens today.

Congratulations Zuri and well done Big Red you're a daddy again biggrin

Maclaw Bengals is very pleased to announce that today we have launched our new Maclaw Wheel page..

How cute are these two little friends?

I got a lovely email today from the Mum of one of our last litter of kitten's.

Deborah snapped this cute picture of her little daughter Sophie and the kitten.

They also have a very unique name for their little cutie, they called her Soda which is the initials of all the family she belongs to Sophie,Owen,Deborah and Anthony. We liked it so much we changed her pedigree name to Little Miss Soda Pop.

We can't believe how sweet they are together!
so much so we just had to share.

Beau and Nala have a new home..

We would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who offered a helping hand for Ben and Emma to re home Beau and Nala.
A new home has now been found for them and they are currently settling in with Ashleigh, James, James Junior and Logan (one of our previous kitten's).

It's early days and of course there are always teething troubles in any new home, but we feel sure once Beau and Nala get to know Logan they will realise he's a big old softie and settle into their new life very well. It's going to be hard work for Ashleigh and James for a while but we know they will cope.

We'll keep everyone posted on just how they get on, but once again thanks everyone we appreciate all of your help biggrin

Posted on 05 Mar 2011 by Jacqueline Hodgson

A New Section - Help us Re Home Beau and Nala.

Here at Maclaw Bengals we often get emails asking us about Bengals that need re homing for lots of different reasons. For this reason we are considering opening up a new section on our website where you can advertise your cat's with us.

At the moment we are trying to find a new and loving home for two of our Sukira's sister's.

Beau and Nala are the most beautiful bengal girls, their poor Mum and Dad are having to part with them for personal reasons.

The girls are spayed and are 18 months old. THEY MUST GO TOGETHER AS THEY ARE VERY CLOSE.

If you would like to see pictures of the girls please email and we will send them to you.

Like most bengals Beau and Nala are typical bengals they like to play and have their lunatic time, but on the whole Ben and Emma (their Mum and Dad) tell us they are loving little girls who enjoy a cuddle and a nap on the lap, all be it together and usually on one lap!!

Beau and Nala have been brought up with Northern inuit and husky dogs and are quite happy, healthy girls.

As this is very difficult for Ben and Emma we will take any emails or phone calls for them to check out if you are genuinly interested in the girl's.

Ben has assured us for the right person he is willing to deliver the girls and all their equipment e.g. scratch posts, play centers, carrying cases, and all their paperwork etc.

To ensure we attract the right sort of person we are asking for a fee of £100.00

So if you would love to own two of the most stunning girls in the Bengal world and we may add two of the last kitten's produced by Lounge Leopards Wildside Kid Rock before he was retired, please do get in touch with us. Our telephone number and email is available on the website.

Claudia's Kitten's Have All Found New Homes

We have had a very exciting week end, our sweet little Dylan has gone to live with Pauline in her menagerie.

Dylan seemed very calm and Pauline has been in touch to let us know he settled very well, he's already met Pauline's male ferret and when the female ferret has her kits, no doubt he will meet her too.

Pauline also has a very cheeky little Jack Russell called Jake and a lovely little Bijon who's name is Sam ( Samantha). She has a very large garden and plans on taking Dylan for walks once he gets used to a harness and lead. I'm sure he will appreciate the fresh air and be introduced to Pauline's chicken's too.

We wish Dylan lots of luck and love in his new home.

We have also said goodbye to Arlia, she has gone to live with her brother Kuma.
Louise and Simon decided although their little chap was happy in his new home they needed a playmate for him during the day when they are busy with work commitments.

Louise tells us it was touch and go at first, as Arlia seemed to have forgotten Kuma in a week. But Kuma being the sweet and cheeky boy he is persisted until Arlia gave in and decided to move into his bed for a cuddle and a clean up lick.

We know they will be absolutely fine and they both adore their Mum and Dad.

Claudia's kitten's

We have had a busy week end our Claudia's babies are now 13 weeks, fully vaccinated and ready to leave us. And thats exactly what they did!!

The first to go was our stunning boy Troy, he's gone to live with Michelle, Owen and their lovely daughter Charlotte. We know he's going to be loved to bits by this warm and friendly family and we couldn't ask for nicer people if we'd picked them ourselves.

Next was our cheeky boy "the Oscar Demon" he has gone off to live with Joanne and Andrew, we're pretty sure he's going to keep them on their toes ! literally!
and we hope Pushka their current bengal who is 5 months old takes to her new brother.

Thirdly was our big boy Kuma, a very confident fellow! usually Abbott to Oscar's Costello, a real comedy duo.....
Louis came with her Dad as poor Simon had a previous engagement and was
missing out on the pick up moment.
Kuma didn't mind he was more than happy with his new mum's full attention, and we think Dad was secretly wishing he could pick a kitten to take home too...
Louise tells us Kuma had a very good night and slept well in his new home, which is nice for us to know.
Kitten's can get frightened when it's their first night alone, but Kuma came through with flying colours, well done Kuma.

The fourth to leave us was our sweet and gentle little Yoshi, his poor mum Claire was so excited she hadn't slept much and was up very, VERY ! early!

When she and Peter her husband came to pick up Yoshi they brought Claire's Mum and a close friend of Claire's, Katherine.

Yoshi didn't mind, he was far too excited to see his new Mum and Dad, he played happily with everyone and showed his sweet personality and gentle loving nature.

Claire tells us he's settled on her knee and fast asleep at the moment, bless him!

And last but by no means least, our purr machine Castor also found a loving home.
Joanne and her husband came to have a look at our three remaining kitten's.
Castor's loud purr and loving nature shone through. And that! as they say was that! decision made.
Castor has left us to live with Joanne, her hubby and their 6 year old son, who we know Castor is going to adore.

We love all our kitten's dearly and it's very important that they go to kind, understanding and loving homes.
We feel each and every one have achieved that goal over the week end and we look forward to pictures and updates from everyone who adopted one of our little stunners this week end.

Their mother Claudia was on hand to say goodbye and give her babies the confidence to leave us.

So for now kitten's good bye and good luck , we hope to see pictures from your forever homes very soon. wub

Claudia's Kitten's Continued

The next one to be reserved was our beautiful little Leo (now called Yoshi), as soon as his new mum saw him she fell in love with this sweet and mischievious little fella.

Claire and Peter were looking for a kitten with attitude, and that most definately is Yoshi, although he is the smallest kitten in Claudia's brood. He has the loudest purr and the biggest heart, a proper little sweetheart.

Gentle and loving he looks like a push over but don't be deceived our little Lion can bite and claw with the best of them.

It's Claire's **th ohmy Birthday on Saturday and Yoshi will be leaving us to take up residence in his new home on Sunday just in time to say Happy Birthday to his new Mum.

Our next kitten to be reserved was Troy, a stunning little boy who caught the heart of Michelle and her family.

Troy is a cheeky little monkey who likes to run up my legs, he hangs on the pockets of my jeans and bites me. This is his way of saying hey I'm bored lets play!

Troy is a confident and loving little kitten with a heart of pure gold, he frequently sits and groom's his brothers and sister as well as himself, a proper little gentleman.

We know our kitten's are going to be loved and we wish them and their new families a long and very happy life together.

So good bye Oscar, Kuma, Yoshi and Troy we love and will miss you babies.

Claudia's kitten's

Claudia's babies are now 12 weeks old and will be ready to leave us this weekend.

Although we will be sad to see them go we are confident they have been adopted by some lovely people who are going to give them loving and happy homes.

Our first boy to go was Bumble (now called Oscar), he is our feistiest little man and boy! is he going to give his new mum and dad a run for their money.

Joanne and Andrew already have a beautiful little bengal girl named Pushka and wanted a lovable character who will be a new brother for their sweet little girl, look out Pushka the Oscar devil is coming!

Next to be reserved was our sweet little Kuma, his bubbly new mum and dad are very excited and looking forward to taking him home.

Kuma is a little terror, he hides behind chairs and ambushes his brothers and sister. I have to say he's made us jump a few times too, he fluffs out his tail and scoots across the floor side ways which in such a small kitten is extremely funny.

Louise and Simon will have hours of fun with this little character. rolleyes

Mia's babies

Mia's little kitten's are just three weeks old and coming on beautifully. Their eye's are open and they peak out from their warm nest while mum is having her breakfast.

Very soon they will be moving around on their own.

Mia is one of our more experienced queen's and takes her kitten's births very much in her stride. She is a very good mother and keeps her kitten's clean and well fed.

She is now allowing us to pick them up and is quite happy to have a wander around while her babies sleep, this gives mum time to wash herself and take care of those all important claws.

We have two beautiful little girls and a very handsome boy.

More pictures soon.

TJ had a dramatic Christmas

Our youngest son Paul came home from Lincoln for Christmas, with him he brought his two cats Maya, a rescue cat who is blind but manages really well and TJ one of our kitten's that Paul decided was the bengal for him.

TJ had been here about an hour and was being introduced to our Bengals again to allow him to play with them and settle in happily, when Maya fell over my husband Allan's boots and hissed loudly, this spooked TJ who then jumped back and landed in the Christmas tree. We are not sure exactly what happened next but we think TJ got his leg through the foot of the Christmas tree and twisted it to get out.

Anyway TJ ran off yelping and howling and when I went to pick him up and see if he was alright, I found he was holding his front paw at a funny angle.

Well long story, short! TJ had broken his two large bones in his front leg and had to be cage rested for the rest of his holiday here (poor boy!).

We were all so shocked, he didn't seem to do anything at all just jumped and ran. Clearly it was enough poor cat and now my poor son has to deal with an injured boy for at least two months until TJ's bones heal.

Our vet (Sarah from Simply Cats) was fantastic and brought a lovely lady called Shona from Croft Veterinary to do the operation which involved TJ having pins and a plate fitted into his leg to keep the bones straight and help the healing process.

We would never have believed it could happen that easily, but here are TJ's X rays and as you can clearly see he managed to break both large bones right through. The X-rays are before and the last one after his operation.

He's on the road to recovery now and we will update every one on our accident prone boy.
